The surgery works by reshaping the cornea so it can better focus images onto the retina for sharper vision. Both eyes can be treated during the same appointment, and the surgery takes about 10 minutes per eye. LASIK is an outpatient procedure that uses local anesthesia in the form of eye drops.
Full recovery and noticeable results can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. In most cases, patients enjoy 20/20 vision without glasses or contact lenses after their surgery!
Costs are one of the biggest reasons holding people back from the visual freedom of LASIK. Although the upfront fee can make LASIK seem out of reach, the long-term savings actually means you spend less over time!
There is an easier way to pay for your LASIK. We’re pleased to accept the CareCredit credit card, North America’s leading patient healthcare financing program. CareCredit lets you begin your procedure immediately — then pay for it over time with monthly payments that fit easily into your monthly budget.
