Visian ICL – an implantable contact lens that works with the eye to correct vision. Unlike traditional contact lenses that go on the surface of the eye, the ICL is surgically inserted in the eye where it provides excellent quality of vision. Candidates for the ICL are 21 years of age or older and near-sighted. This is an option for patients with a high degree of near-sightedness or thin corneas, which has previously prevented some patients from having LASIK or PRK surgery to correct their vision. www.Visianinfo.com

Refractive Lens Implants – are technologically advanced intra-ocular lenses that replace the natural lens inside the eye. Most commonly used in conjunction with cataract surgery, the premium lens provides patients with a fuller range of vision (distance and near) and dramatically reduces the need for glasses. These lenses are available to treat near-sightedness and far-sightedness. The premium lenses can also be used for refractive surgery, enabling patients who have presbyopia to see well at all distances. There are three types of lenses that can be chosen, depending on your visual needs. more...
