Cataract & Vision Correction Surgeon

Dr. Tilton is an accomplished board certified cataract and refractive surgery specialist. He has been at the Hauser-Ross Eye Institute for over 17 years, performing over 20,000 cataract surgeries.

He received his medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Tilton was part of a nationwide Clinical Research Study (CRS) that evaluated the safety and efficacy of LASIK surgery. In addition, Dr. Tilton is among the first surgeons in the United States trained to perform Implantable Contact (collamer) Lens (ICL) surgery. In 2007, Dr. Tilton and his refractive surgery team were presented with the Center for Excellence Award for exceptional surgical outcomes using the Crystalens Advanced Technology intraocular lens.
